"The Matchmaker appears at the beginning of the film. She calls Mulan to be the first of the candidates and immediately scolds the girl for speaking without permission (which causes Grandmother Fa to remark on the woman's harsh attitude).
Inside, she puts Mulan through a series of evaluations. She first notes that Mulan is "too skinny", which is supposedly not good for bearing sons. The Matchmaker then has Mulan recite "The Final Admonition", but becomes suspicious that Mulan is cheating when Mulan falters (which she slightly did through hidden notes written in her arm and not in her hand fan as the Matchmaker suspected) and pulls Mulan to the table, grabbing her by her arm with the notes." fandom.com
This Mulan was well designed with reversible clothing for two different looks. Her hair has also been designed to pull into a neat up-do when the bead in Mulan's hair is pulled. Her "magic" geisha make-up appears when the puff is dipped in warm water and applied to her face.

This item has been adult owned for the last 25 years. the box is in near mint to mint condition. The doll is mint in a factory sealed (unopened) box. The elastic bands holding the 2 combs, puff holder and scroll in place have disintegrated over time. Accessories are located at the bottom of the box. Please refer to photos for item condition.
