How to use Adore semi-permanent hair color on pre-lightened hair Use protective cream around hairline. Apply hair color 1/8" from scalp, and comb through thoroughly. Cover with a plastic cap, and process with heat for up to 15 minutes. Rinse and shampoo completely.
