Beautiful, enticing the warms hues of her iridescent gown and golden accessories are total glamour. So beautiful, so uniquely glorious, her name at the Basque world for “miracle”. Acclaimed designer Stephen Burrows presents his second incredible Barbie doll, inspired by Versailles, bling, glamour and a touch of Africa. Alazne Barbie doll wears a breathtaking coral, strapless gown featuring countless shimmering paillettes. A striking collar and fingerless opera gloves are elegant, yet very modern. Finally a striking head piece and golden hoop earrings frame her gorgeous face. Stephen Burrows was the first African American designer to achieve international acclaim. Only 6.200 Alazne were made world wide and released in 2012.
She has been with me since then, and i just ripped the tissue paper that she was wrapped with to take the pictures. (sometimes they do come with flows direct from Mattel, so i needed to be sure that she was mint in a mint black box, plus the shipper). Some of the blemishes are camera glare against the shinny transparent plastic window cover, but i can assure you this baby is flawless. She comes with her stand and certificate of authenticity. I’m also including the magazine from Mattel, as seen in picture #12.
