Product Description I hadn’t planned
on starting a cosmetics company. But sitting in a hair salon in Rome a few years ago, I made a discovery. As I saw women leaving the salon, I couldn’t help noticing that some would linger by the door. After a few minutes, their colorist would come back with a little paper bag, hand it to them and send them cheerfully on their way. When I inquired about this mysterious ritual, the receptionist said: “Per sotto, per farli combaciare,” meaning: “ For the hair down there...to make it match.
” I thought," How genius... A home coloring kit for the hair down there!
” I knew there were no specialized products like this in America. Obviously, all blondes in the world want to be true blondes. Redheads and dark-haired women, their natural true color, too. I couldn’t get the idea out of my mind. Sophisticated women, who spent time and lots of money getting their hair color just right, had no solution for coloring the hair down there. They were totally overlooking this crucial beauty area. We even found blondes who had tried to do it themselves using off-the-shelf products with terrible results. It was clear women (and even some men!) were desperate for a product like this. Over the next two years, I worked with our manufacturer to perfect a product that would address this need. I even consulted a toxicologist to make sure that the formulation we were creating would be safe to use near this sensitive area. It’s been quite a journey. But I’m thrilled to be sharing my discovery of our easy-to-use betty
colors with you. We call them BLONDE betty, BROWN betty

. I also came up with a hot pink color not just for special occasions - our FUN betty

Why is betty safer than regular hair dye?
Our betty color kits are specially formulated for the hair down there and include natural ingredients such as elder flower, cherry bark, chamomile, comfrey, black walnut, rosemary and aloe as well as special conditioners not found in current hair color dyes. Our safe no-drip crème formula ensures that when used correctly, betty color won’t run into your sensitive area. Betty does NOT contain PPD or ammonia. Remember to follow instructions and apply to Safe Zone only.
How often should I use this product?
Betty can be used frequently. Most men and women color their hair down there when they color their head hair, usually every 3-4 weeks. Reapply leftover color if you need a boost.
How many applications are in each kit?
Each betty kit has about 1-2+ applications (depending on how much betty there is!)
What if I want to go back to my original color?
No problem. Just use the betty kit that most closely matches
your original color ( AUBURN
betty, BLACK
betty, BROWN
betty or BLONDE
betty).
What if the color stains my skin?
Betty color can be easily removed from the skin with a soapy washcloth. Before coloring, apply petroleum jelly around the outside of the hair line to help prevent staining.
Will the color rub off?
No. Even perspiration and physical activity will not affect betty colors.
Can anyone use betty?
Yes, betty works well on all hair types. No matter how dark or coarse the hair, betty will color all types of hair.
Can men use it too?
Yes. Many men want to cover grays down there too. Men love betty and how safe it is! They also like to use betty on their beard and chest hair. Betty products are formulated to prevent any irritations and have natural ingredients like Elder Flower, Cherry Bark, Chamomile, Comfrey, Rosemary and Aloe Betty products are not tested on animals Betty products do not contain Ammonia or Parabens. (Black/Brown/Auburn colors contain the lowest % of PPD than other dyes on the market.) Betty products have 1-2+ applications in each kit. Betty customers love to use our products to touch-up roots and men use it for facial and chest hair too!
