The total length of the hair is approx. 24" long.The hair contains just the right amount of stiffness and wave so that it will not hold a large amount of water and is easily shaken off on the back cast, and just about eliminates fouling on the hook. The hair is a perfect substitute for buck tail and allows the tier the ability to tie much longer flies.
