The comb is designed and hand beaded by me in my home studio.  The comb is made of a thick clear color acrylic material and adorned with Silver plated fluted large beads and small silver plated round beads. I have also added large hole beads with silver tone metal cores (similar to beads used for bracelets) and silver tone metal spacers with rhinestone crystals. I have also added large Austrian crystal rondelle faceted beads in a turquoise color. The beads are wired by hand and then wrapped to the comb with elastic cording. Lastly a bit of jewelers glue is added to keep it all in place. Attention getting and feminine and perfect for any special occasion, even every day wear!  The comb measures 4 1/4  inches wide by 3 1/2 inches from the top of the comb (crystals) to the bottom of the teeth. The comb is not made in France. The name french twist comb refers to the size of the comb- large- and meant for a french twist or up do hair style. It is brand new and in perfect condition. Perfect for a Wedding, prom, or any special occasion or as the Brides something blue item and a Mermaid wedding. Perfect for an Equestrian or Southwest style person and makes a thoughtful gift.
