Vintage Clairol Quiet Touch Hairpainting Hair Highlights Kit 1976 Box

It's a time capsule from October 1976! New Old Stock Vintage Clairol Quiet Touch Hairpainting Hair Highlighting Kit in original box. Great for display, a prop, or a memory of the past. The copyright is 1974, but there is a date October 1976 stamped on the bottom of the box by the manufacturer They didn't even have different shades of highlights back then. it was one shade of Hairpainting fits all. The box is larger and about 7" tall and 5 1/4" wide. Cheryl Tiegs type model on the box.  Great graphics! Three women that look like Charley's Angels on the back

Box has light wear and rubs from storage, nothing serious. The graphics on the box are great. Original paper orange price stickers from Eaton's Drugs of Marblehead Massachusetts on top.

Box is in nice condition with just minor shelf wear Contents are NOT complete and have some issues! They NEED TO BE CLEANED if you wish and have remnants of product and soil on them. What is inside? There is the original yellow plastic mixing tray with raised Clairol letters, an instruction booklet, 2 Quiet Touch foil packets which are unopened but one has STAINS!  and is partially worn through. little mail-back questionnaire booklet that has fading, plastic application wand which has some soil, and EMPTY little plastic bottle that once had highlights lotion but now is EMPTY and has soil and dried product on the outside. Also stains and rubs on the logo and partial letter loss

 

This sat in a linen closet of the original owner waiting from 1976.
